building community through investments, leadership, and philanthropy

It’s Easier Than You Think To Build Your Personal Legacy

We build millions of opportunities during our lifetime.  Work with Durham Community Foundation to turn those opportunities into your personal legacy. See how John, Diana, Catharine and Carlee have created their legacy funds at Durham Community Foundation.

AN ENDOWMENT FUND IS A LASTING LEGACY

permanent resources for our community

Durham Community Foundation’s primary role is to build endowment funds that benefit our community. The power of an endowment fund is that it is permanent, yet it continues to grow over time, while awarding grants annually to support immediate needs within our community. To date, DCF has granted more than $1.6 Million to local charities, benefiting residents throughout the Region of Durham. That’s the Real Power of an Endowment Fund.
