We take care of all the administration so you can focus fully on your charitable interests and impact.
All gifts made to your Fund will be invested professionally, and a portion of the total value of the Fund is available each year for distribution to any registered Canadian charity.

Community Foundations of Canada is the national network for Canada’s 191 community foundations. Together we are a philanthropic movement working across sectors to help Canadians invest in building strong and resilient communities.

Give any amount to an existing fund at Durham Community Foundation. There’s a broad menu of existing endowment charity pools to choose from that can meet your wishes.
Establish your own endowment fund at Durham Community Foundation. With a $5,000 donation or more you can set up a designated or field of interest fund, and decide your area of charitable focus, without unnecessary legal or accounting fees.
Create your own family foundation by setting up a donor advised fund. This option allows for the most flexibility and ongoing involvement for you or your surviving family, without the high fees that traditional family foundations cost.
