Durham Community Foundation awards $1,336,693 in grants through the Emergency Community Support Fund Round 1
Durham Community Foundation is proud to have partnered with Community Foundations of Canada and the Government of Canada to deliver $1,232,110 through the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) in the Region of Durham and an additional $104,729 in the municipality of Northumberland County.
Since launching in May 2020, our Foundation responded to 306 calls from local charities, reviewed 151 applications and awarded funds to 119 registered charities providing support to children, youth, seniors, as well as special care and supports to those most in need.
